A: No, we get paid part of what is collected from the debtor.
3. Q: My debtor has moved away. Can you still collect?
A: Usually we can find your debtor and collect.
4. Q: My debtor has moved to Mexico, or China Can you still collect?
A: No, the power of the state court stops at the international border.
5. Q: My debtor has filed bankruptcy. Doesn't that mean I won't get paid?
A: Not necessarily. Phone us right away with your case number. We can quickly lookup the status of the bankrupcty case at no cost to you.
6. Q: My debtor is deceased. Can you still collect?
A: Sometimes. Phone us right away to see if this is possible for your case.
7. Q: My debtor is in prison. Can you still collect?
A: Only if we can find where he stashed the loot.
8. Q: How do you find my debtor?
A:
We use skip tracing techniques that we prefer to keep secret, (your
debtor might be reading this). We are allowed to access
proprietary databases. This information is not available to
the general public.
9. Q: Do I have to contact my debtor again?
A: No, we handle all communications with your debtor.
10. Q: Do I have to go to court again?
A: No, we handle all court filings and appearances.
11. Q: Do you guarantee to collect my judgment?
A: No, but we promise to try hard and to use every means available. Some debtors truly have no assets and have no income that can be seized. If nothing can be collected, we lose our legal expenses, the time and efforts expended trying collect. You risk nothing.
12. Q: I would like to keep trying to collect for myself. Can you assist me?
A: Sorry, but no. You are asking us to provide legal advice and that would be against the law.
13. Q: Who else can help me collect my judgment?
A: Both attorneys and private investigators can collect judgments. They will usually charge an advance fee and an hourly rate even if they do not collect. We do not charge any upfront fee or any hourly rate.
14. Q: Do you buy Court Judgments?
A: Yes we do, however, we only buy California.
